Canvas Print - Large Silver-Gelatin photographs mounted on high-quality cotton canvas and stretched over a wooden frame similar to a painting. Canvas prints are offered as a beautiful means of providing images in sizes that are too large to be hand-printed as canvas adds an additional depth and texture to the image.
Mounted – Image comes ready-to-frame surrounded with a white archival mat.
Non-Mounted – Image is shipped as a loose print without any mounting material.
Archival – A labor-intensive method of printing photographs that ensures the image will not fade or discolor. Philip Pankov guarantees his archival images will remain unchanged for at least 100 years.
Darkroom Printing – The traditional method of creating photographs by exposing light-sensitive photographic paper and then ‘fixing’ that image to the paper through a series of photo-chemical baths. The process is undergone in a darkened room to control exposure of the light-sensitive paper.
Hand-Printing – Process of manually printing photographs in a darkroom. With the many steps involved, one photograph can take several days to prepare.
Silver Gelatin Print – Refers to the light sensitive silver salts used to create certain photographic papers. Silver Gelatin prints have an unmatched luminous quality.

This option includes a 5x7 inch archival darkroom-printed image surrounded by a 1.5 inch border and will fit standard 8x10 inch frames. Your photograph is signed in the bottom right-hand corner and has an embossed Philip Pankov Photography seal in the bottom left-hand corner. This option is best if you are looking for an image to fit into a small space or to hang with 2 or more Philip Pankov Photographs of the same size. All 8’x10’ images are packaged with a backing board and a protective envelope.

9x12 inch mounted
This option includes a 9x12 inch archival darkroom-printed image surrounded by a white mat signed on the bottom right-hand corner and will fit standard 12x16 inch frames. This option is best if you are looking for a smaller image that will accompany other artwork on your wall and is particularly beautiful when hung with 2 or more photographs of the same size. All 9’x12’ images are packaged in a protective envelope for safe shipping.
